Dr. Florentina Constantin is a Senior Consultant Pediatrician, experienced in the evaluation, diagnosis and monitoring of conditions affecting children and adolescents.

Her professional path began in 2007, upon graduating from the Faculty of General Medicine at the "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest. After a short residency in Emergency Medicine at the "Sfântul Pantelimon" Clinical Emergency Hospital, the path toward pediatrics became clear: starting in October 2008, her Pediatrics residency took place at the "Alessandrescu-Rusescu" National Institute for Mother and Child Health in Bucharest, one of Romania's most important medical institutions dedicated to children.

The residency years meant more than theory: examining patients both on an outpatient and inpatient basis, taking medical histories, completing medical records, recommending lab tests and further investigations, giving treatment indications, hospital on-call duty starting in year III, case presentations, and consistent participation in scientific events. In 2014, this period concluded with the title of specialist physician — followed by nearly a decade of practice at the same institute, until 2023, when she obtained the title of Senior Consultant Pediatrician.

From June 2023 to July 2024, her work continued as a senior consultant at the "Alessandrescu-Rusescu" Institute, and since July 2024, she has practiced at the "CF 2" Clinical Hospital in Bucharest, where pediatric consultations and evaluations maintain the same focus on careful diagnosis and open communication with parents.

Over 15 years of practice have been accompanied, year after year, by continuous professional training. Milestones along this path include PALS certification (pediatric advanced life support), advanced courses in emergency burn therapy for young children, consistent participation — since 2013 — in the annual editions of the Bucharest College of Physicians Conference, as well as numerous national pediatric conferences focused on emergencies, guidelines and updated protocols. The topics covered over the years span a wide range of pediatric medicine: rare diseases and their diagnosis, cystic fibrosis, neonatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, treatment-resistant epilepsy, multidisciplinary evaluation of child victims of violence, as well as current topics such as gut microbiota and the role of vitamin D3, covered in recent courses from 2025 and 2026.
